SEAToday.com, Seoul - Aktor Korea Lee Sun-kyun ditemukan meninggal dunia, Rabu (27/12). Polisi setempat menemukan aktor pemenang Oscar dalam film “Parasite” tersebut dalam keadaan tidak sadarkan diri di dalam mobil di taman pusat kota di kawasan Seongbuk, Seoul, sekitar pukul 10.30 waktu setempat. Kematian aktor kawakan Korsel ini diduga bunuh diri karena ditemukan arang di dalam mobilnya.
Sebelumnya, polisi menerima laporan bahwa Lee meninggalkan rumah setelah menulis memo yang diduga dengan catatan bunuh diri dan mobilnya hilang. Lee telah menjalani tiga kali pemeriksaan polisi karena diduga menggunakan ganja dan obat-obatan terlarang lainnya beberapa kali sejak awal tahun ini, termasuk pada Sabtu (23/12).
Lee dinyatakan negatif dalam tes reagen singkat yang dilakukan selama investigasi polisi dan tes narkoba di laboratorium oleh Layanan Forensik Nasional bulan lalu. Sehari sebelumnya, Lee mengajukan permohonan tes kebohongan kepada Badan Kepolisian Metropolitan Incheon yang bertanggung jawab atas penyelidikan tersebut, dan menyatakan bahwa ia tidak bersalah.
