SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Orang yang memiliki masalah lambung harus memilih kopi secara bijak karena beberapa dari jenis kopi dapat menimbulkan gejala asam lambung atau maag.
Untuk para penderita penyakit lambung, dapat memilih kopi yang memiliki kadar asam rendah, seperti Kopi Arabika. Kopi Arabika dapat membantu mengurangi iritasi pada lambung seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Pelatih Barista PT Langgeng Makmur Kencana (LMK) Arie Nugroho.
“Saya selalu merekomendasikan orang yang memiliki masalah lambung untuk memilih kopi arabika dulu, kenapa? karena arabika jauh lebih nyaman untuk diterima perut, kadar kafeinnya juga lebih rendah,” seperti yang dikatakan Arie Nugroho kepada ANTARA, Rabu (9/10).
Kopi Arabika dapat mudah diterima oleh orang yang menderita penyakit asam lambung karena kandungan yang terdapat dalam kopi Arabika memiliki tingkat asam yang lebih rendang dibandingkan kopi jenis lainnya.
Kandungan asam klorogenat yang ada di Kopi Arabuka juga mempunyai sifat yang lembut, sehingga dapat mengurangi iritas pada lapisan lambung.
Arie Nugroho mengungkapkan bahwa proses pengolahan dan pemanggangan pada biji Arabika lebih halus dibandingkan kopi jenis lainnya dan memiliki rasa yang cukup seimbang dan tidak sepahit jenis kopi lainnya.
Karena memiliki rasa yang lebih ringan dan memiliki kandungan kafein yang lebih rendah dibanding jenis kopi lainnya, kopi Arabika bisa menjadi pilihan yang tepat bagi para penderita asam lambung untuk dapat menikmati cita rasa kopi tanpa perlu khawatir dengan masalah pada lambung.
“Kalau misalnya sudah mulai terbiasa atau mau yang lebih advance, bisa coba yang Robusta, karena Robusta itu kadang-kadang memberikan efek yang langsung bereaksi di badan kita karena kandungan kafeinnya lebih tinggi dibanding Arabika,” ungkap Arie.
