Orang yang menikmati liburan Lebaran mungkin menerima peningkatan dopamin dan serotonin (hormon perasaan senang) setelah menghabiskan waktu bersama teman dan keluarga. Sehingga saat masanya telah selesai, maka dapat memicu hilangnya rasa senang dalam diri.

- Tidur yang cukup, setidaknya tujuh jam perhari untuk bantu mengelola stress
- Konsumsi makanan bergizi seimbang untuk bantu menghindari kecemasan dan stress
- Hindari konsumsi alkohol dan obat-obatan karena kedua zat tersebut dapat memicu emosi negatif yang lebih sulit untuk dikendalikan
- Jaga hubungan baik dengan teman dan keluarga
- Lakukan aktivitas fisik secara teratur
- Coba hal-hal baru yang menyenangkan
Jadi, jangan biarkan rasa sedih atau tertekan pasca liburan Lebaran membuat tugas atau pekerjaan menjadi terhambat. Jika suda terlalu berlarut dalam post holiday blues, maka disarankan untuk dapat memeriksakannya ke layanan kesehatan.
