SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Sambut libur sekolah, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) menggelar Festival Musim Panas Jepang atau "Natsu Matsuri" mulai 29 Juni 2024 hingga 7 Juli 2024.

Penyelenggara "Festival Natsu Matsuri" Andy Sadrudin Rohardian mengatakan bahwa Natsu Matsuri merupakan kolaborasi budaya Jepang dan budaya Indonesia.

"Kebetulan saat ini sedang libur sekolah. Jadi diharapkan tradisi dan budaya Jepang dapat dikenalkan kepada anak-anak saat liburan," ujarnya.

Pada festival ini, pengunjung TMII bisa melihat pertunjukan yang menggabungkan antara seni kontemporer dan seni tradisional Jepang.

Hari pertama "Natsu Matsuri", yaitu Sabtu (29/6), acara akan dibuka dengan "fun run" di area TMII dengan jarak lima kilometer (km) yang diikuti sekitar 1.500 peserta.

Nantinya para pelari akan menggunakan "cosplay" atau kostum khas Jepang. Hingga saat ini, kuota untuk acara "fun run" tersebut pun sudah penuh.

Tidak hanya itu, saat Festival Natsu Matsuri juga akan ada acara Bon Odori (tarian tradisional Jepang), penampilan Taiko (tabuh drum), parade Omikoshi (arak-arakan kuil portable) dan bazar kuliner.

VP Marketing Communications TMII, Erika Silviana mengatakan, dalam rangka pekan liburan sekolah, pihaknya telah menyiapkan sejumlah acara dengan tema "Kumpul Bocah" mulai 22 Juni hingga 7 Juli 2024.

"Festival ini menampilkan berbagai rangkaian acara seperti Festival Kumpul Bocah di Plaza Lokomotif seperti bubble party, face painting, permainan tradisional anak, story telling, serta art and craft," katanya.
