The mother of singer Denada Elizabeth Tambunan passed away at the age of 67 on Monday (1/27) in Banyuwangi, East Java.
The sad news was shared by Denada’s manager, Risna Ories, through an Instagram Stories post. In her message, Risna wrote, "Please recite Al-Fatihah for Mrs. Emilia Contessa. Thank you for your kindness in sending prayers for her." Emilia was reported to have breathed her last at 6:00 PM WIB.
Throughout her life, Emilia Contessa was known as a multi-talented figure. She captivated hearts with songs like Penasaran, Kehancuran, Angin Malam, and Flamboyan, and also showcased her dedication in the political arena. She served as a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) for the 2014–2019 period, representing East Java.
