The 24-year-old actress was found lifeless at her residence in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, at around 4:55 PM local time. Her passing was first discovered by a friend who was scheduled to meet her, as reported by Yonhap on Sunday.

According to local police, there were no immediate signs of foul play at the scene. However, authorities are conducting further investigations to determine the exact cause of her death.

Kim Sae-ron was widely recognized for her roles in several South Korean films and dramas, including "The Man from Nowhere" and "The Neighbors." Having started her career at a young age, she gained prominence after debuting as a child actress, appearing in notable productions such as the film "Barbie" and dramas like "The Queen's Classroom" and "Secret Healer."

However, her career faced controversy. On April 5, 2023, Kim Sae-ron was convicted of driving under the influence and was fined 20 million won (approximately IDR 225.9 million).

Her passing has left a deep sorrow in the South Korean entertainment industry and among her fans.
