SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo to Begin Military Service on April 3

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - SEVENTEEN member Wonwoo is set to begin his mandatory military service on April 3, 2025, as announced by PLEDIS Entertainment.
Due to his enlistment, he will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN’s upcoming activities.
“Wonwoo will begin his military service on April 3. As a result, he will not be able to take part in any upcoming events, including the Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival in April 2025 and the fan meeting in Japan,” stated PLEDIS Entertainment, as quoted on Antara, on Wednesday.
However, Wonwoo will still take part in CARATLAND, SEVENTEEN’s fan meeting, on March 20–21, and fans will continue to see him in pre-recorded content.
PLEDIS also confirmed that there will be no official event on the day of his enlistment, urging fans not to visit the military site.
“Please show your support for Wonwoo through Weverse. We ask CARATs to continue loving and encouraging him so he can fulfill his duties diligently and return safely. The company will also do its best to support him,” the statement concluded as quoted on Antara.
