Pertama di Dunia! Kemenag Akan Cetak Al-Qur'an dalam Bahasa Isyarat
Dalam upaya untuk memperluas akses layanan publik ramah disabilitas, Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) akan mencetak mushaf Al-Qur’an Bahasa Isyarat 30 Juz. Hal ini disampaikan Menteri Agama Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Senin (13/11).
"Alhamdulillah, proses penyusunan mushaf Al-Qur'an Isyarat sudah selesai dan akan segera kita cetak. Ini akan menjadi mushaf Al-Qur'an Bahasa Isyarat pertama di Indonesia, bahkan dunia,” ujar Menteri Yaqut.
Kepala Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf Al-Qur'an (LPMQ) Badan Litbang dan Diklat Kementerian Agama H. Abdul Aziz Sidqi menyebutkan, saat ini mushaf Al-Qur'an Isyarat dapat diakses secara digital di aplikasi milik Kemenag. Sedangkan untuk versi cetak masih dalam tahap proses dan direncanakan terbit akhir 2023. Ia juga menyebutkan bahwa mushaf ini diperkirakan akan lebih tebal dibandingkan mushaf pada umumnya, karena akan memuat tulisan isyarat.
Selain mushaf Al-Qur’an Isyarat, Kemenag juga memiliki mushaf Al-Qur’an dalam standar Braille, dan saat ini dilakukan proses penyempurnaan cetakan mushaf Al-Qur’an bagi masyarakat disabilitas netra.
