10 Negara dengan Destinasi Ramah Muslim 2024
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia kembali mendapatkan predikat sebagai "Top Muslim-Friendly Destination of the Year 2024" dalam survey Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI). Penghargaan ini diterima langsung oleh Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Sandiaga Uno di Singapura, Kamis (30/5).
"Ini menjadi peluang dan potensi industri halal untuk bisa berkembang secara eksponensial, karena populasi Muslim global terus tumbuh," ujar Sandiaga.
Menurut GMTI, Indonesia menempati peringkat pertama bersama dengan Malaysia karena komitmen dan konsistensinya dalam mengembangkan layanan pariwisata ramah Muslim. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan ketersediaan makanan halal yang mudah ditemukan dan fasilitas ibadah yang memadai di berbagai tempat.
