SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Anggun C. Sasmi akan menjajaki debut akting film Indonesia dengan membintangi film terbaru garapan sutradara Wregas Bhanuteja yang berjudul "Para Perasuk".
Kabar ini diumumkan langsung oleh penyanyi internasional tersebut melalui akun media sosial Instagramnya, Selasa (30/7). Ia membagikan potret dirinya bersama naskah "Para Perasuk" yang ditulis oleh Wregas Bhanuteja bersama Alicia Angelina dan Defi Mahendra. Wregas sendiri akan kembali mengarahkan film ini.
Namun, belum ada informasi lebih lanjut terkait plot film tersebut. Deretan aktor lain yang akan bergabung juga masih dirahasiakan oleh Wregas maupun Rekata Studio selaku rumah produksi.
Sebelumnya, Anggun telah memiliki pengalaman di dunia perfilman, seperti menjadi narator dalam film dokumenter di Eropa. Namun, ini adalah kali pertama ia bermain film di tanah air.
Proyek ini sekaligus menjadi babak baru dalam karier Anggun C. Sasmi. Sebab, ia lebih banyak menjalani kiprahnya sebagai penyanyi di Prancis dan Eropa. Anggun juga baru saja menggelar konser tunggal bertajuk "Enchanting Anggun and Friends" di JCC Plenary Hall Jakarta, Minggu (28/7).
Sementara itu, "Para Perasuk" menjadi film panjang ketiga yang dikerjakan Wregas Bhanuteja. Wregas sebelumnya mengarahkan "Penyalin Cahaya" (2021) dan "Budi Pekerti" (2023) yang berhasil mendapat berbagai piala penghargaan dan tampil di beberapa festival film internasional.
