Henry Cavill akan Bintangi Film Adaptasi Anime Jepang Voltron
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Serial anime jepang berjudul Voltron siap di adaptasi oleh Amazon Studios, dan aktor asal Inggris, Henry Cavill akan membintangi film tersebut.
Rawson Marshall Thurber didapuk menjadi sutradara dalam film adaptasi anime ini. Thurber sebelumnya membuat film aksi Netflix "Red Notice" dan pernah menggarap film "Skyscraper”.
Dalam film Voltron, Henry Cavill akan beradu peran dengan seorang aktor pendatang baru yang tampil di serial TV Badults yaitu Daniel Quinn Toye.
Dikutip dari NME, Jumat (11/10), Detail Plot “Voltron” saat ini masih dirahasiakan. Namun, konsep utama film tersebut berpusat di sekitar tim penjelajah luar angkasa yang mengemudikan robot super raksasa.
Di tahun 2024, Cavill terlibat dalam project film komedi berjudul Argylle dan film aksi berjudul The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Aktor yang dikenal atas perannya sebagai Superman, baru-baru ini juga tampil sebagai cameo varian Wolverine ‘Cavillrine’ dalam “Deadpool and Wolverine”.
