Gunung Rinjani Akan Menerapkan Kebijakan Nol Sampah Mulai April 2025
SEAToday.com, Lombok - Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani (TNGR) di Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat, akan menerapkan kebijakan 'nol sampah' melalui gerakan "Go Rinjani Zero Waste 2025".
Gerakan ini mewajibkan para pendaki untuk mengemas ulang bahan makanan serta minuman yang dibawa untuk ditempatkan di wadah yang dapat digunakan kembali.
Kebijakan nol sampah ini akan diberlakukan mulai April 2025 mendatang setelah penutupan selama tiga bulan. Di bulan Januari-Maret setiap tahunnya, aktivitas pendakian di Gunung Rinjani selalu ditutup untuk memberikan waktu pemulihan lingkungan di kawasan tersebut.
Saat ini, Gunung Rinjani telah memiliki tiga standar operasional prosedur yaitu pendakian, sampah, dan evakuasi. Kepala Balai TNGR mengatakan hal ini menandakan pengelolaan wisata pendakian Gunung Rinjani telah siap menuju ke target nol sampah.
