SEVENTEEN, UNESCO Bangun Pusat Pendidikan di Timor Leste
SEAToday.com, Timor Leste-Grup K-pop SEVENTEEN, bersama dengan Komisi Nasional Korea untuk UNESCO, mendirikan dua pusat pembelajaran di Timor Leste untuk memberikan pendidikan bagi siswa yang terpinggirkan.
Pusat pembelajaran dibangun di Oecusse dan Manatuto dibuka sejak April 2024 dan menawarkan pembelajaran berbagai keterampilan seperti bahasa, komputer, dan menjahit. Setiap tahunnya, 300 siswa kurang mampu akan dapat menikmati pelajaran di tempat tersebut.
Gerakan yang dilaksanakan SEVENTEEN dan UNESCO tersebut merupakan bagian kampanye #Going Together yang sudah berjalan sejak Agustus 2022. Selain itu, SEVENTEEN menyumbangkan sebagian keuntungan tur dunia dan font BongBongee untuk mendanai pendidikan di Malawi, Afrika.
