Ingin Rehat dari Musik, Adele: Saya akan Rindukan Kalian
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pada awal musim panas ini, Adele mengaku berencana untuk menjalankan rehat usai tujuh tahun berkarya di industri musik.
Adel mengatakan bahwa saat ini menjadi waktu yang tepat untuk dirinya menjalani kehidupan yang telah dibangun usai tujuh tahun meniti karir dalam menghasilkan karya di dunia musik.
"Saya hanya butuh istirahat. Saya telah menghabiskan tujuh tahun terakhir membangun kehidupan baru untuk diri saya sendiri dan saya ingin menjalaninya sekarang.
Saya ingin menjalani kehidupan yang telah saya bangun dan saya akan sangat merindukan kalian,” kata Adele seperti dikutip Billboard pada Minggu (1/9) waktu setempat.
Sebelumnya, penyanyi asal Inggris itu akan menggelar konser residensi Weekends With Adele di Colosseum, Caesars Palace, Sin City pada bulan Oktober dengan 10 penampilan yang akan berakhir musim gugur ini.
"Namun setelah itu, aku tidak akan melihatmu untuk waktu yang sangat lama. Dan aku akan menyimpanmu di hatiku selama masa rehatku,” ujarnya.
Usai menjalani residensi yang berlangsung di Las Vegas ini, Adele mengaku tidak berencana membuat karya musik baru dalam sementara waktu ini.
“Saya sama sekali tidak punya rencana untuk musik baru," katanya disampaikan langsung kepada ZDF Jerman.
Adele mengaku tidak terlalu pusing dengan ketenarannya saat ini. Hal itu membuatnya berpegang teguh untuk memilih rehat agar dapat mengeksplorasi minat kreatif lainnya dalam waktu dekat.
