NewJeans Donasi 100 Juta Won untuk Anak-anak yang Merawat Keluarganya
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - NewJeans menyumbangkan dana 100 juta won atau sekitar Rp1,04 miliar ke ChildFund Korea, badan amal yang membantu anak-anak, atas nama penggemar mereka yakni Bunnies.
Kabar ini diumumkan oleh ChildFund Korea, yang juga dikenal sebagai Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation pada Kamis (19/12).
Mereka mengumumkan bahwa Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, dan Hyein dari grup NewJeans telah memberikan sumbangan untuk membantu anak-anak dan remaja yang harus merawat anggota keluarga yang berusia lanjut, mengalami disabilitas, atau sakit.
Anggota grup NewJeans ingin meringankan beban anak-anak dan remaja yang harus merawat anggota keluarga mereka meskipun masih berusia muda.
Sumbangan dana yang diberikan ini untuk mendukung pertumbuhan sehat anak-anak dan remaja yang harus merawat keluarga serta membanty mereka menjadi mandiri.
"Kami akan terus menunjukkan kepedulian kami agar anak-anak ini dapat menemukan dan mewujudkan mimpi mereka," kata para anggota NewJeans.
Sumbangan dana tersebut rencananya akan digunakan oleh Green Umbrella untuk mendukung 30 keluarga dengan fokus pada pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup, perumahan, pendidikan, dan kesehatan.
Tidak hanya itu, sumbangan dana ini juga akan digunakan untuk membantu anak-anak dan remaja yang harus merawat anggota keluarga agar bisa mandiri melalui program pengembangan karier dan peluang pekerjaan.
"Kami berharap dukungan ini dapat membantu anak-anak dan remaja yang merawat keluarga mereka untuk mengurangi beban harian mereka dan mendapatkan waktu untuk pertumbuhan pribadi dan kemandirian," ujar Kepala Divisi Kerja Sama Kontribusi Sosial ChildFund Korea Shin Jung Won.
