SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Jelang long weekend Waisak 2024, PT KAI mengoperasikan sebanyak 20 kereta api (KA) tambahan.
Pengoprasian KA Tambahan ini sebagai bentuk antisipasi lonjakan penumpang pada libur long weekend yang akan dimulai pada Kamis (23/5) hingga Minggu (26/5).
Pihak KAI mengatakan bahwa peningkatan jumlah perjalanan KAI ini menjadi bagian dari komitmen mereka dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kepada pelanggan terutama dalam waktu high season.
Berdasarkan pantauan KAI pada Selasa (21/5), total tiket KA yang sudah terjual pada Rabu (22/5) hingga Minggu (26/5) sudah sebanyak 455.378 tiket atau dengan rata-rata 91.076 tiket per hari.
Jumlah ini sudah mencapai angka 62 persen dari total keseluruhan tiket yang dijual yaitu sebanyak 740.301 tiket. Angka ini akan terus bertambah seiring waktu long weekend yang semakin dekat.
Selain total tiket yang terjualm, KAI juga mencatat bahwa terjadi peningkatan penumpang pada keberangkatan Rabu (22/5) yaitu terdapat 112.857 penumpang.
Berikut ini merupakan daftar KA Tambahan yang dioperasikan selama periode long weekeng ini:
1. KA (7015) Manahan Tambahan relasi Solo Balapan - Gambir, beroperasi Rabu (22/5) s.d Senin (27/5).
2. KA (7016) Manahan Tambahan relasi Gambir - Solo Balapan, beroperasi Rabu (22/5) s.d Selasa (28/5).
3. KA (7024B) Lodaya Tambahan relasi Bandung - Solo Balapan, beroperasi Rabu (22/5), Kamis (23/5) dan Minggu (26/5).
4. KA (7023) Lodaya Tambahan relasi Solo Balapan - Bandung, beroperasi Rabu (22/5), Kamis (23/5) dan Minggu (26/5).
5. KA (7002A) Taksaka Tambahan relasi Gambir - Yogyakarta, beroperasi Rabu (22/5) s.d Minggu (26/5).
6. KA (7001A) Taksaka Tambahan relasi Yogyakarta - Gambir, beroperasi Kamis (23/5) s.d Senin (27/5).
7. KA (7045) Argo Parahyangan Tambahan relasi Bandung - Gambir, beroperasi Rabu (22/5) s.d Minggu (26/5).
8. KA (7046) Argo Parahyangan Tambahan relasi Gambir - Bandung, beroperasi Rabu (22/5) s.d Minggu (26/5).
9. KA (29F) Argo Cheribon relasi Cirebon - Gambir, beroperasi Minggu (26/5).
10. KA (30F) Argo Cheribon relasi Gambir - Cirebon, beroperasi Minggu (26/5).
