Rilis Album Baru, Maliq & D'essentials Hadirkan Nuansa Seperti Nonton Film

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Maliq & D'Essentials baru saja merilis album kesembilan mereka "Can Machines Fall In Love?" pada 30 Mei 2024.

Dalam album ini terdapat 7 lagu termasuk lagu viral mereka Kita Bikin Romantis dan 6 lagu lainnya yaitu Intro, Dadidu di Dada, Aduh, Terus Terang, Begini Begitu, dan Hari Terakhir.

Di album kesembilan mereka, grup musik yang sudah hadir sejak 2002 ini menghadirkan nuansa musik seperti menonton film.

Pada saat mengkonsepkan album ini di tahun lalu, mereka memang memiliki rencana untuk album ini seperti film, bagaimana perasaan ketika mereka menonton film.

Lewat Can Machines Fall In Love, Maliq & D'Essentials berusaha menghubungkan perasaan tersebut dengan cara orang menikmati lagu.

Dalam album ini juga, sang vokalis Angga Puradiredja mengatakan bahwa mereka tetap mengangkat tema cinta, karena mereka merasa kurang paham untuk tema yang lain.

Menurut Angga, cinta merupakan tema yang paling general dan banyak tafsiran, mulai dari perasaan bahagia sampai kesedihan. Tema inin juga termasuk yang paling banyak relate dengan pengalaman orang.

Maliq & D'Essentials sendiri terakhir mengeluarkan album pada 2021 yang bertajuk Raya.
