Taufan Mokoginta Pemenang World Coffee Roasting 2023
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Taufan Mokoginta, pria asal Surabaya, meraih juara dalam World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC) 2023 di Taiwan International Coffee Show di Taipei, pada Minggu (19/11). Taufan berhasil mengalahkan 20 kompetitor lainnya, termasuk wakil dari Turki, Amerika Serikat, dan Jepang pada saat final.
Sebelumnya, Taufan mengikuti tiga kompetisi pada 2022 dan 2023 yaitu dua kali dalam kategori Roasters dan sekali dalam kategori Barista. Kemenangan Taufan dalam kejuaraan WCRC ini menjadi kemenangan pertama Indonesia dalam meraih juara pertama di world coffee event. Raihan ini menjadi penentuan keberhasilan kopi Indonesia di pangsa pasar dunia.
