Nicola Coughlan Galang Dana Lebih Dari 28,5 Miliar untuk Palestina
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Bintang Utama Bridgerton season 3, Nicola Coughlan, melakukan penggalangan dana untuk para pengungsi di Gaza, Palestina. Coughlan merupakan salah satu selebritas internasional yang cukup vokal mendukung Palestina. Ia menggandeng yayasan amal Palestine Children’s Relief Fund atau PCRF (@thepcrf).
Dalam postingannya di Instagram (@nicolacoughlan), Jumat (24/5), ia mengajak para penggemarnya untuk berdonasi. Hingga Senin (3/6), Coughlan berhasil mengumpulkan 28,5 miliar rupiah dari target 31 miliar rupiah untuk korban krisis kemanusiaan di Gaza. Terdapat lebih dari 104 ribu orang yang ikut menyumbang dalam penggalangan dana ini, termasuk pesohor Sabrina Carpenter, Bebe Rexha, dan penyanyi asal Indonesia, Niki Zefanya. Angka tersebut masih bisa bertambah mengingat masih ada 20 hari lagi hingga penggalangan dana ditutup.
Selain penggalangan dana ini, Coughlan beberapa kali terlihat mengenakan pin dukungan gencatan senjata di Palestina saat promosi Bridgerton Season 3. Ia menjelaskan bahwa ayahnya salah seorang staf PBB dan keluarganya pernah tinggal di Yerusalem.
