Lebih Efisien, Kereta di Sinchuan Angkut Para Petani untuk Berjualan di Pusat Kota Chongqing
SEAToday.com, Sichuan – Stasiun Sichuan di Tiongkok punya cerita istimewa. Kota yang jaraknya lebih dari 40 kilometer dari pusat kota Chongqing ini jadi titik awal bagi petani untuk menaiki kereta bawah tanah pertama menuju pasar kota. Karena itulah, stasiun kereta Sichuan ramai dengan petani yang ingin menjual hasil panen mereka ke pusat kota Chongqing.
Dilansir dari Harian Rakyat Online (07/04/2024), para petugas di stasiun sigap mengarahkan para petani. Untuk petani yang sudah lansia, diberi kesempatan untuk masuk lebih dahulu.
Salah satu petani yang sering menggunakan kereta ini adalah Ye Shanju. Ia kerap membawa lebih dari 15 kilogram sayuran dengan kereta ini, lalu menjualnya di pasar yang ada di kawasan Jiangbei.
“Dulu, saya hanya menjual sayuran di kota terdekat. Sekarang, saya bisa menjualnya di pusat kota yang harganya lebih tinggi, dan penjualannya lebih cepat,” ujar Ye.
Adanya tukang sayur dalam gerbong kereta sempat diprotes warga. Mereka merasa terganggu dengan adanya penumpang yang membawa barang berukuran besar, terutama di jam sibuk.
Pihak angkutan kereta api setempat menekankan filosofi layanan mereka yang berorientasi pada masyarakat dan komitmen untuk melayani masyarakat. Mereka menyatakan, selama perilaku dan barang penumpang mematuhi peraturan, tidak akan ada gangguan.
