Aktor Senior Ray Sahetapy Meninggal Dunia

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Aktor senior Ray Sahetapy meninggal dunia pada Selasa (1/4).
Kabar ini diumumkan oleh anak laki-lakinya, Surya Sahetapy melalui unggahan di media sosial Instagram, @suryasahetapy.
"Selamat jalan, Ayah! @raysahetapy. Kami selalu menyimpan kenangan saat bersamamu ❤️" tulis Surya dalam unggahannya.
Aktor yang tutup usia pada 68 tahun ini berpulang di RSPAD Gatot Subroto, Jakarta.
Sebelumnya, Ray memang diketahui menderita stroke pada 2023 dan tengah menjalani masa pemulihan.
Aktor bernama lengkap Farence Raymon Sahetapy ini lahir di Donggala, Sulawesi Tengah pada 1 Januari 1957.
Sepanjang kariernya, Ray dikenal sebagai aktor yang kerap memainkan peran karismatik sehingga beberapa kali dinominasikan dalam Festival Film Indonesia (FFI).
Ray mengawali karir di industri film dengan berperan sebagai Jaka di film "Gadis" pada 1980.
Pada industri film internasional, Ray juga berkesempatan berperan dalam produksi film Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Captain America: Civil War pada 2016.
Meski adegan yang ia perankan sebagai juru lelang di Indonesia pada final film tidak ditayangkan, namun adegan itu kemudian pada tiga tahun setelahnya, akhirnya dihadirkan dalam Infinity Saga Collector’s Edition yang berisi rangkuman film MCU mulai dari Iron Man (2008), Spider Man: Far From Home (2019).
Sementara itu, dalam kehidupan rumah tangga, Ray pernah menikah dengan aktris senior Dewi Yull pada 1981, usai keduanya membintangi film "Gadis".
Pasangan ini dikaruniai empat anak yakni Gizca Puteri Agustina Sahetapy (1982-2010), Rama Putra Sahetapy, Surya Sahetapy dan Muhammad Raya Sahetapy.
Pernikahan dengan Dewi Yull sayangnya kandas pada Agustus 2004. Ray kemudian menikah dengan Sri Respatini Kusumastuti pada Oktober 2004.
