Alasan Pemerintah Bangun Museum Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme, Cocok Dikunjungi Anak-anak Sekolah

SEAToday.com, Bogor– Pemerintah dalam hal ini Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Teroris (BNPT) membangun Museum Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme Adhi Pradana yang berlokasi di kawasan kantor BNPT di Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat.

Tentu ada alasan tersendiri kenapa museum ini didirikan. Melansir Antara, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik Hukum dan Keamanan (Menko Polhukam Hadi Tjahjanto mengatakan masyarakat Indonesia akan mendapat edukasi setelah masuk ke dalam musem tersebut.

“Diharapkan masyarakat bisa paham terhadap bahaya teroris yang bisa merusak kehidupan bangsa,” kata Hadi yang merupakan mantan Panglima TNI dan Menteri Agraria dan Pertanahan /Kepala BPN. Saat meresmikan museum tersebut, Hadi mengatakan di dalam bangunan itu menampilkan peristiwa terror apa yang yang terjadi di Indonesia sejak tahun 1948-2022.

“Museum ini dibuka untuk masyarakat dan diprioritaskan untuk anak-anak sekolah, karena anak-anak sekolah harus memahami betul dengan perjalanan gangguan terorisme di Indonesia,” kata Hadi yang mengatakan museum adalah media yang efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat.

Dalam acara peresmian Museum Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme Adhi Pradana, selain dihadiri Menko Polhukam, juga hadir Kepala BNPT Komjen Pol Mohammed Rycko Amelza Dahniel. Menurut Ryco keberadaan museum ini sekaligus untuk menghormati para korban dalam aksi terorisme yang terjadi di Indonesia.

“Dengan demikian diharapkan bisa meningkatkan kepedulian publik dalam mewujudkan kesiapsiagaan nasional,” tambah Rycko yang juga mengukuhkan Paguyuban Anti Teroris Indonesia atau PATI yang akan berkontribusu kepada BNPT melakukan mitigasi terorisme.

Pengunjung museum selain mendapat informasi tentang terorisme di Indonesia juga bisa melihat langsung koleksi benda-benda yang terkait dengan terorisme di Indonesia. “Pengunjung juga bisa belajar tentang sejarah, bahaya, ancaman terorisme, dan modus operandi ara pelaku,” tambah Rycko.

Bangunan museum ini memang cukup unik berbeda dengan museum-museum lain di Indonesia. Terlihat bentuk museum modern dan minimalis. Museum ini memiliki konsep kontemporer memadukan tradisional dan modern yang memberikan pengalaman edukasi sehingga memudahkan penyampaian informasi kompleks, dan visualisasi serta simulasi.
