PT KAI Wisata Siapkan Layanan Java Priority untuk Wisatawan yang akan Berlibur di Akhir Tahun
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Kereta Api Pariwisata (KAI Wisata) meluncurkan layanan Kereta Java Priority pada rangkaian Kereta Luar Biasa (KLB) khusus untuk periode Natal 2024 dan Tahun Baru 2025. Kereta ini melayani rute Jakarta-Yogyakarta dan sebaliknya, beroperasi mulai (19/12/2024) hingga (05/01/2025).
Dalam keterangan resmi yang diterima ANTARA di Jakarta, Selasa (03/12), Nama "Java Priority" dipilih sebagai simbol budaya, konektivitas, dan kemajuan di Pulau Jawa, sementara "Priority" mencerminkan komitmen KAI Wisata terhadap kenyamanan dan ketepatan waktu.
“Kereta Java Priority akan menggunakan sarana satu kereta dining on train, dua kereta imperial, dan lima kereta priority yang saat ini digandengkan pada Kereta Api Bogowonto, Brawijaya, Fajar Utama Yogyakarta, Gajahwong, Manahan dan Senja utama Yogyakarta," ucap Direktur Utama KAI Wisata Hendy Helmy.
Kereta ini memiliki kapasitas 30 kursi per gerbong dengan berbagai fasilitas unggulan, seperti meja lipat, power socket, dan layanan eksklusif lainnya.Java Priority terdiri dari satu kereta dining on train, dua kereta imperial, dan lima kereta priority.
Rangkaian ini akan digabungkan dengan KLB, mengakomodasi total 190 penumpang per perjalanan. Jadwal keberangkatan dari Stasiun Gambir adalah pukul 12.45 WIB, tiba di Yogyakarta pukul 20.25 WIB, sedangkan perjalanan sebaliknya berangkat pukul 23.40 WIB dari Yogyakarta dan tiba di Gambir pukul 07.10 WIB.
"Perjalanan kali ini khusus penumpang Free Independent Traveler (FIT) dan bisa langsung memesan tiket Kereta 'Java Priority' melalui aplikasi Access by KAI," ungkap Hendy.
Hendy menjelaskan, rute Gambir-Yogyakarta dipilih karena keduanya merupakan destinasi wisata favorit, termasuk bagi wisatawan mancanegara. Data mencatat keberangkatan wisatawan asing tertinggi di Stasiun Yogyakarta mencapai 103.353 penumpang pada Januari-September 2024, diikuti Stasiun Gambir dengan 82.997 penumpang.
Tak hanya itu, penumpang Kereta Wisata terus meningkat signifikan. Dari Januari hingga Oktober 2024, tercatat 121.374 penumpang, naik 73,77 persen dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya sebanyak 69.845 penumpang.
