All BLACKPINK Members Decide Not To Renew Individual Contracts with YG Entertainment

SEAToday.com, Seoul- YG Entertainment (@yg_ent_official) confirmed on Friday (12/29) that the members of BLACKPINK (@blackpinkofficial) did not renew their individual contracts and will only be under the agency for BLACKPINK group activities. In a statement released by YG Entertainment, they confirmed that each member of Blackpink will only be under the company for group promotions.

YG Entertainment admitted that BLACKPINK will be more active in the future, with several new albums and more BLACKPINK world tours.

The clarity of BLACKPINK's individual contract was announced after their personnel Jennie, announced that she had founded her own agency "Odd Atelier" (OA) on Sunday (12/24). Meanwhile, Jisoo reportedly joined Biomom, a company run by her older brother, for her solo activities, Tuesday (1/2). However, the four BLACKPINK members, Jennie, Jisoo, Rose and Lisa, will remain active in the K-pop world as BLACKPINK through an exclusive contract that was signed on Wednesday (12/6).
