SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Lempuyang Temple tourist attraction will be closed for five days for tourists because there will be a pujawali ceremony or piodalan ritual in the area.

Bendesa Adat Purwayu, I Nyoman Jati, said the closure of tourist visits was carried out from Wednesday (4/23) to Sunday (4/27).

The Lempuyang Temple is only open for pemedek who want to pray during the pujawali.

"The goal is to let the pemedek focus on praying. This is routinely done every six months," he added.

The closure has also been socialized to travel agents and tour guides to inform all tourists who plan to come to Lempuyang Temple to postpone the visit temporarily.

“I hope the whole series of pujawali at Lempuyang Temple can run safely and smoothly,” hoped Jati.
