TIP ON EVENT 2024: Shaping A Collaborative Innovation Ecosystem
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - On Wednesday (10/2), Telecom Infra Project (TIP) and Telkom University convened the prestigious regional event, TIP ON EVENT 2024, at the Samisara Grand Ballroom in South Jakarta.
The event, themed "Shaping A Collaborative Innovation Ecosystem", focused on exploring the future of telecommunications through innovation, collaboration, and partnerships within the industry.
TIP ON EVENT 2024 was supported by Telkomsel, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Nusantara Capital City, and other key telecommunication players. OREX, NTT DOCOMO's Open RAN service brand, served as a sponsor, being the world's first mobile operator to provide large-scale 5G services using Open RAN.
Dadan Rahadian, Vice Rector Academic of Telkom University, welcomed participants and companies to the third annual event, emphasizing the significance of TIP as an open network telecommunication platform for driving innovation.
"This event aims to exchange ideas, explore collaboration opportunities, and share knowledge to develop technologies and innovations that can benefit society and promote inclusive digital transformation," stated Dadan.
Ismail, Director General of Resources Management and Equipment at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, added that TIP is a practical solution to telecommunication challenges and can growth local engagement.
"There are opportunities to maximize benefits and leverage the crucial role of operators, particularly in manufacturing, to implement this technology," he said.
Eugina Jordan, Chief Marketing Officer of TIP, and Julian Gorman, Head of Asia Pacific at GSMA, also delivered inspiring remarks to start the event.
