SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Jisoo BLACKPINK has officially signed with EMPIRE Records, a label founded by Palestinian-American music entrepreneur Ghazi Shami. The deal, signed on Tuesday (1/28), marks a significant milestone in her solo career.

EMPIRE Records is an independent American record label, distribution and publishing company founded in 2010 by Ghazi Shami.

Previously co-branded with Kwon Ji-Yong (G-Dragon), is widely recognized for supporting humanitarian causes, including human rights advocacy in Palestine. Shami and his team have actively contributed to the Palestinian cause through various musical and social initiatives.

With Jisoo joining the label, fans anticipate a new artistic direction that blends her signature style with EMPIRE’s global influence. Many also hope this collaboration will elevate K-pop on the international stage while carrying meaningful messages through music.
