BLACKPINK’s Rosé to Release Highly-Anticipated Single After APT Breakthrough

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Soloist and member of idol group BLACKPINK, Rose, will release a new single titled Number One Girl following the success of the song APT, her collaboration with pop star Bruno Mars.
As quoted in the Yonhap broadcast on Tuesday (19/11), The Black Label as the agency that houses Rose said that the single Number One Girl will be released on Friday, November 22, 2024.
The song Number One Girl will be featured on Rose's debut solo album titled Rosie, which is scheduled to come out on December 6, 2024.
Rose contributed to the lyrics and composition of all the 12 songs on the album, allowing fans to get a closer look at her artistic talent.
Rosie will be Rosé BLACKPINK's first project released under The Black Label, the agency that handles her activities as a soloist. Meanwhile, as a group it is still managed by YG Entertainment.
The artist, whose full name is Roseanne Park MBE, debuted as BLACKPINK's lead vocalist in 2016 and launched her solo career in 2021 with the single “R.”
On The Ground, the album's title track, was a significant success, topping the Billboard Global 200 chart. It also reached No. 70 on the Hot 100, setting a record for the highest-ranked song by a K-pop female soloist.
