Sumba Crowned Asia’s Top Travel Destination for 2025 by Time Out

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Sumba Island in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) was chosen as the best destination to visit in Asia in 2025 by Time Out magazine.
Time Out released a list of the eight best destinations in Asia in 2025 and Sumba Island is at the top of the list.
Sumba managed to beat other tourist destinations in Asia, such as Siargao in the Philippines, Da Nang in Vietnam, to Osaka in Japan.
Reporting from its official website according to Time Out, Sumba is known for its beautiful beaches, such as Nihiwatu and undulating savannah scenery.
“This remote island is also perfect for travelers seeking adventure and tranquility. Don't miss out on exploring Weekuri Lagoon, a natural saltwater pool that offers a refreshing swim,” wrote Time Out Asia.
In second place, there is Siargao in the Philippines, which is an island shaped like a teardrop that is famous among surfers.
Then in third place is Da Nang, Vietnam which is located between the South China Sea and Mount Son Trà.
