Linkin Park Brings a New Era to Jakarta in Their First Show with Emily Armstrong

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Jakarta was on fire once again as Linkin Park took the stage! The American band delivered a stunning performance during their third concert in the capital, titled From Zero World Tour, held at Stadion Madya Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Central Jakarta, on Sunday (2/16) night.
Like a form of "therapy" for their fans, Linkin Park—now featuring Emily Armstrong (vocals), Mike Shinoda (rapper), Colin Brittain (drums), Brad Delson (keyboard), and Joe Hahn (DJ)—brought an electrifying atmosphere as they performed their timeless hits.
"People in the back, how are you feeling? Are you ready to have fun? Let’s jump!" Mike Shinoda shouted before launching into the next song.
The concert kicked off with Somewhere I Belong from the Meteora album, instantly triggering a wave of cheers from the thousands of fans packing the stadium. The energy in the crowd soared even higher when they performed iconic hits like Crawling and New Divide.
Midway through the show, Mike took a moment to express his gratitude to the audience. "Thank you so much! I just want to say thanks for all the support for the new music from the From Zero album," he said.
Dressed in all black, Linkin Park took the stage at around 8:15 PM WIB, maintaining high energy throughout the night. Besides revisiting their legendary songs, they also introduced new tracks from their From Zero album, including The Emptiness Machine.
This concert marked a special moment for both Linkin Park and their fans in Jakarta. It was their first performance in the city after a seven-year hiatus following the passing of Chester Bennington in 2017. It was also the first time Emily Armstrong performed as the band's vocalist in Indonesia.
Making it even more special, Jakarta was the only Southeast Asian stop on Linkin Park’s From Zero World Tour. A night filled with nostalgia and a fresh new era, it was truly an unforgettable experience!
