SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Multi-talented actress and singer Maudy Ayunda embarks on a new chapter in her career, stepping behind the camera to produce a biopic film about Ki Hajar Dewantara (KHD).

This film project is expected to add a significant dimension to both Indonesian education and cinema.

"While studying Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational methods, I was particularly drawn to the emphasis on arts and character development, which haven't been fully understood or implemented through current school curriculums," Maudy revealed during the Exclusive Media Gathering Film Project Announcement "KHD" held at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research, and Technology building in Jakarta on Monday (5/6).

Beyond the theme of education, Maudy aspires to bring a vision of Ki Hajar Dewantara's life and the values he embodied to the film.

As a producer, Maudy's current priority is to find the right collaborators and engage in in-depth discussions before starting the script development for the "KHD" film.
