Updated Mount Rinjani Entry Ticket Prices Effective October 30, 2024
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Gunung Rinjani National Park Office in Jakarta has announced new rates for visitors to climb Mount Rinjani, effective October 30, 2024, as specified in Government Regulation No. 36 of 2024. This update was shared on their official Instagram account, @btn_gn_rinjani.
According to the announcement, the Ministry of Finance has formally adjusted the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) rates under Government Regulation No. 36 of 2024, replacing the previous Regulation No. 12 of 2014. This adjustment affects all fees for both climbing and non-climbing tourism activities within the Gunung Rinjani National Park, with new tariffs set to take effect 30 days after the regulation’s enactment.
Starting October 30, 2024, the entrance fees for Mount Rinjani are as follows:
Class 2 National Park (Sembalun, Senaru, and Torean trails)
- Foreign tourists: IDR 200,000 per person/day (previously IDR 150,000)
- Domestic tourists: IDR 20,000 per person/day (previously IDR 5,000)
- Domestic student groups: IDR 10,000 per person/day (previously IDR 3,000)
Class 3 National Park (Timbanuh, Tetebatu, Aikberik, and 21 non-hiking destinations)
- Foreign tourists: IDR 150,000 per person/day (unchanged)
- Domestic tourists: IDR 10,000 per person/day (previously IDR 5,000)
- Domestic student groups: IDR 5,000 per person/day (previously IDR 3,000)
Special Fees on Holidays/Collective Leave/Festive Days
- Foreign tourists: Free (previously IDR 225,000)
- Domestic tourists: 150% of the normal rate (previously IDR 7,500)
- Domestic student groups: 150% of the normal rate (previously IDR 4,500)
