Khadija Omar First Hijabi Miss Universe Contestant from Somalia

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Somalia makes its debut in the Miss Universe 2024. 23-year-old Khadija Omar has been named Miss Universe Somalia 2024 and will compete in Mexico in November.
What’s interesting is that Khadija is the first hijabi to compete in the world-class beauty pageant.
She was born in the Hagadera refugee camp and moved to Canada in 2010. Her experiences have shaped her into a woman who inspires many. Today, Khadijah works as a beauty influencer, model, and social media marketing manager. She is also an active voice for inclusivity.
On top of that, Khadija is a pageant competitor and made it to the Top 13 of Miss World 2021.
