Slank to Hold 41st Anniversary Concert Titled Pasar Malam Empat Satoe Slank

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Legendary band Slank will hold a concert titled “Pasar Malam Empat Satoe Slank” at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on January 4, 2025, to celebrate their 41st anniversary.

"The 'Pasar Malam Empat Satoe Slank' concert will take the concept of a night market festival, so we plan to present something different from previous Slank concerts," said Slank’s Bimbim in a press release to ANTARA on Wednesday (10/30).

“There will be games, entertainment, performances, and there will be many MSME tenants selling food and children's toys, there will also be official Slank merchandise. This will be a really exciting Slank anniversary,” he continued.

The band, comprising Kaka (vocals), Bimbim (drums), Ridho Hafiedz (guitar), Abdee Negara (guitar), and Ivanka (bassist) will perform some of their most popular hits during their 41-year career in the music industry.

Director of Operations of PT Expo Indonesia Jaya (Expolndo) as the event promoter, Novry Hetharia said the “Pasar Malam Empat Satoe Slank” concert will expose Slank's long journey in the music industry.

“Apart from being a celebration of Slank's works, the 'Pasar Malam Empat Satoe Slank' concert is also a momentum and historic connection for Slank, Slankers, and all those who have supported Slank's creative journey,” he said.

Slankers, the nickname for Slank fans, are expected to enjoy and have fun at the concert, as vocalist Kaka said.

“This is a rare moment and will be really exciting. So Slankers of all age must come, because this event is made for all groups and all ages,” he added.
