Red Velvet’s Irene Releases First Mini Album, Like A Flower

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-One of the members of K-Pop girl group Red Velvet, Irene, will make her solo debut with a mini album (EP) titled “Like A Flower”. This EP will be released 10 years after Irene’s debut with Red Velvet.

Irene will release her first mini album on November 26, 2024, at 6 PM local time.

The release of Irene’s mini album was announced through Red Velvet’s official social media. The announcement also came with an artwork featuring Irene’s portrait in a painting.

“IRENE's First Mini Album [Like A Flower] 2024.11.26,” @RVsmtown tweeted, Sunday (3/11).

In the teaser photo of the mini album, there is a woman with moles dressed in white like a comic character with greenish hair. She is also surrounded by white flowers and butterflies.

The album contains eight songs, including the title track, “Like A Flower”. The eight songs will showcase Irene’s various musical colors, but based in pop.

The singer, born Bae Joo-hyun debuted with Red Velvet in 2014. At that time, Red Velvet debuted in a four-member formation before Yeri entered on the release of “Ice Cream Cake” a year later.

Before making her solo debut, Irene was also involved in a duo project with Seulgi called Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi in 2020. They released a mini album called Monster consisting of six songs with title tracks Monster and Naughty.
