SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Rock band Kotak will hold “Dua Dekade Kotak” (Two Decades of Kotak) concert on November 23. This concert will celebrate the 20-year journey of Tantri (vocal), Cella (guitar), and Chua (bass) in the country’s music industry. The 'Dua Dekade Kotak' concert will be held at GBK Basketball Hall, Senayan, Jakarta on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
“For us, this concert does not only mark the band’s 20-years journey, but also serves as a manifestation of gratitude for the support of many parties, especially Kerabat Kotak who has been loyal in accompanying our musical journey so far,” said Tantri.
She also said that they will give their best, as well as present various surprises at the concert. This concert will provide a memorable experience for all audiences, especially Kerabat Kotak (Kotak fans), through specially prepared lighting and visual art arrangements.
The band has prepared 20 of Kotak’s best songs for the setlist. In the concert, Kotak will invite some of the country’s top singers as guest stars, one of them is Marcello Tahitoe or Ello, who has vocal and pop and rock characters.
Besides Ello, Kotak will also collaborate with Yacko, a female rapper from Surabaya who has just returned to Indonesia after a six-city tour in the UK in the middle of this year. Then, there is also a collaboration between Kotak and Sarah Wijayanto.
The highlight of the concert will be its intimate session, inviting the audience to not only enjoy Kotak’s actions, but also to participate in it.
The band is growing more and more ready to perform.
“We definitely put a lot of effort into the preparation. We thoroughly crafted the concept and design for a good result and smooth execution,” said Chua.
“We want to do our best and have fun with the Kerabat Kotak at this two-decade moment,” Chua continued.
In holding the concert, Bersama Entertainment, which houses Kotak, collaborates with Northstar Entertainment as the promoter and Megapro Communications as the event organizer.
