SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Japanese anime series “Voltron” is ready to be adapted by Amazon Studios, and British actor Henry Cavill will star in the film.

Rawson Marshall Thurber was appointed as the director in this anime adaptation. Previously, Thurber has directed the Netflix action movie “Red Notice” and worked on the movie “Skyscraper”.

In the Voltron movie, Henry Cavill will be competing with a newcomer actor who appeared in the Badults TV series, Daniel Quinn Toye. 

Quoted from NME on Friday (10/11), plot details for “Voltron” are currently still under wraps. However, the main concept of the film revolves around a team of space explorers that operate a giant super robot.

In 2024, Cavill was involved in a comedy film project titled “Argylle” and an action film titled “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”. The actor who is known for his role as Superman also made a cameo appearance as Wolverine variant 'Cavillrine' in “Deadpool and Wolverine”.
