Asus ROG Phone 9 to Launch Soon in Indonesia

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Asus is gearing up to launch its latest gaming phone, the ROG Phone 9, in Indonesia. The device, which will succeed the ROG Phone 8, has already received certification from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Kemenkomdigi) and the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) on (11/11/2024), signaling its readiness for release.
The ROG Phone 9, model number "ASUSAI2501C," has passed essential certifications including Postel and TKDN, ensuring it supports both 4G and 5G connectivity.
"With the Postel and TKDN certifications in place, ROG Phone 9 is now cleared for release and distribution in Indonesia," according to a statement from Kemenkomdigi.
Though Asus Indonesia has yet to officially announce the phone’s launch, rumors surrounding its design and specifications have already surfaced.
Leaked details suggest that the ROG Phone 9 will feature two variants: the standard model and a Pro version, both powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Additional rumored features include a 185 Hz LTPO OLED display, up to 24 GB of RAM, and an updated back design with integrated AI features to enhance the gaming experience.
The ROG Phone 9 Series is expected to be officially revealed in a launch event on November 19, 2024, where Asus will showcase the design, specs, and pricing.
