SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian singer-songwriter Baskara Putra, known by his stage name Hindia, has released a mixtape titled “Doves, '25 on Blank Canvas,” featuring 16 songs.

The mixtape is now available on various digital music platforms, with lyric videos accessible on Hindia’s official YouTube channel. Physical copies can also be purchased through the official SDY website.

Hindia described “Doves, '25 on Blank Canvas” as a natural and spontaneous response to events he witnessed and experienced in late 2024.

"I was sparked by the turmoil happening in Indonesia recently. It felt impossible not to reac t to these issues. I had a strong sense that this project needed to be released now—not sooner, not later," Hindia stated, as quoted on Antara, in Jakarta on Monday.

The mixtape showcases Hindia’s musical exploration, blending guitar-driven sounds with electronic elements. It also incorporates both Indonesian and English lyrics while referencing or incorporating works from other musicians.

Several notable producers contributed to the mixtape, including Iga Massardi, Lafa Pratomo, Enrico Octaviano, Kareem ‘BAP.’ Soenharjo, Luth ‘Mellonz’ Adianto (Cosmicburp), Adrian Mahendra Putra (Blue Valley Radio), Kusuma ‘Utha’ Widhiana (Blue Valley Radio), Kevin ueency, BF-131131525, and Emir Agung Mahendra, who collaborated on the track “betty” as part of his pop duo project, White Chorus.

"Musically, this mixtape was heavily influenced by the artists I’ve been listening to over the past few months. The entire process was done spontaneously," Hindia added as quoted on Antara.

His team, Sepuluh Dua Empat (1024), has partnered with Jabba Connection to organize a launch concert titled “Bali, '25 on Blank Canvas.”

As the name suggests, the event will take place in Gianyar, Bali, on March 22. Early bird tickets, priced at IDR 275,000 (excluding tax), are available on Loket.com until February 27.
