SEAToday.com, Jakarta - A sad day for Indonesian music. Legendary Indonesian singer Titiek Puspa passed away on Thursday (4/10) at Medistra Hospital Jakarta at 4:25 pm.
Titiek Puspa passed away at the age of 87 after undergoing treatment for a brain haemorrhage on March 26. The news was confirmed by her manager, Mia on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier, Titiek Puspa's first child, Petty Tunjungsari, said her mother collapsed while filming a TV show.
Titiek was then taken to hospital. After undergoing an examination, the doctor said that Titiek had a brain hemorrhage on the left side.
The “Kupu-Kupu Malam” singer immediately had to have surgery and received intensive care after the surgery.
