SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Rihanna is coming back soon! The iconic pop star recently hinted at her long-awaited ninth album, almost a decade after her 2016’s “Anti”.
In a new Harper’s Bazaar interview published on Saturday (2/22), Rihanna revealed that she feels “really optimistic” about her upcoming album. She confessed that she has been working on it in the last eight years, trying to find her new music to sound different from what was last heard in 2016. The billionaire beauty mogul stated that it won’t be what anybody expected.
“It's not going to be commercial or radio digestible. It's going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now.I feel like I've finally cracked it, girl!,” the star said.
Rihanna has yet to reveal the date when it will drop. But she assures her fans of her upcoming works by saying “I cannot put up anything mediocre. After waiting eight years, you might as well just wait some more.”
