SEAToday.com, New York - Legendary singer Celine Dion is releasing a documentary titled “I Am: Celine Dion” where she will share about her life-changing illness. The film will be available in streaming service Prime Video starting June 25. 

Two years back, Celine Dion had to cancel some of her shows due to her experiencing “muscle spasms”. Not long after, she shared that she was diagnosed with rare neurological disorder stiff-person syndrome (SPS) that affected “every aspect of my daily life”.

The official synopsis called the documentary to be a “raw and honest” picture of the superstar’s journey fighting her illness. Directed by Irene Taylor, the documentary tells the story of a period in her life around the time where she was unable to tour.  

During the New York special screening of the documentary, Celine teared up following a standing ovation from the audience. “Thank you to all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of my journey. This movie is my love letter to each of you,” she declared.
