These towering structures, typically found in city centers, serve a multitude of purposes, including office spaces, commercial business hubs, and residential complexes. By expanding vertically, skyscraper construction maximizes land use.
According to data from the Skyscraper Center, China has the highest number of skyscrapers globally, with over 3,000 buildings. Meanwhile, Indonesia ranks ninth worldwide and fifth in Asia with hundreds of skyscrapers. As the capital, Jakarta became the tallest city in Indonesia.
