SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has announced the appointment of Riefian Fajarsyah, popularly known as Ifan Seventeen, as the new President Director of State Film Production Company (PFN).
His leadership is expected to bring fresh developments to the company's business.
BUMN spokesperson Putri Violla stated that Ifan possesses the experience and background needed to drive innovation at PFN.
"We are giving a young leader the opportunity to take on this role. Let’s see his creativity, experience, and background—what breakthroughs he can bring to PFN," Putri said, as quoted on Antara, at the BUMN office in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Beyond his career as a musician with Seventeen, Ifan has also worked as a film producer, making him a fitting choice for the position. Putri urged the public to give him a chance to fulfill his new responsibilities and bring positive changes to PFN.
"His work isn’t limited to the music industry. He has experience as a producer, which makes him qualified to join the company’s leadership. We hope he can drive new progress for PFN," she added as quoted on Antara.
Putri assured that BUMN will continue to support Ifan in carrying out his mandate. So far, he is the only new name added to PFN’s board.
"The CEO’s role remains the same—ensuring PFN grows and improves. There are no special tasks assigned," she concluded as quoted on Antara.
