Cillian Murphy Wins "Best Male Actor" at 2024 Golden Globe Awards for Oppenheimer Movie

SEAToday.com, Los Angeles - Irish actor, Cillian Murphy won the “Best Male Actor-Motion Picture-Drama” at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (1/7) local time. This award was achieved due to his role in the “Oppehenimer” movie.
This is Murphy’s first win at the Golden Globe Awards. He beat other actors such as Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Colman Domingo, Barry Keoghan and Andrew Scott.
The movie that tells the life story of the ‘father of the atomic bomb’, Julius Robert “Oppenheimer” also won several other categories, including Best Director (Christopher Nolan), Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr), Best Film-Drama, and Best Original Score (Ludwig Göransson).
