SEAToday.com, Jakarta - In an exciting development, Google has announced that its AI-powered assistant, Gemini Live, is now capable of conversing in Indonesian. The feature, which previously supported over 40 languages, has expanded its language capacity to include Bahasa Indonesia, offering users a more personalized and natural interaction with AI.

Google emphasized that Gemini Live's Indonesian integration allows users to access various Google services more conveniently. “Gemini Live is available in Indonesian, allowing users to converse naturally with this AI,” stated Google in a press release on Wednesday (10/23), as cited by ANTARA. This integration extends to popular applications such as Gmail, Maps, and Calendar, enhancing the overall user experience.

One of the standout features of Gemini Live is its ability to switch between two languages seamlessly. Users can easily toggle between Indonesian and other supported languages, offering flexibility in how they engage with AI. To set up this feature, users can go to the Google app settings and choose their preferred languages, enabling them to interact with Gemini in both languages simultaneously.

Unlike the regular Gemini version, which requires users to input questions or prompts, Gemini Live offers a more intuitive experience. Users can engage in direct conversations with the AI, making it easier to explore creative ideas, learn new topics, or even practice presentations. This conversational aspect brings a new level of comfort to interacting with AI.

Google continues to highlight the practical applications of Gemini Live. It can assist with everyday tasks, such as scheduling activities or reminding users about upcoming events. For example, users can ask when the new season of their favorite TV show will air and request a reminder a week or day in advance. 

"By expanding Gemini Live’s availability and connecting its applications to more languages, we aim to provide access to AI’s benefits and help people worldwide access information and enjoy the advantages of AI-powered assistance,” Google added, underlining their goal of making AI more accessible globally.
